Disney's All Star Movies Resort got new refurbished rooms! The resort reopened on March 22nd with rooms that went through a big transformation just like it happened at Pop Century Resort a few years ago. Those green and yellow walls and colorful bedding are gone and replaced with a more sleek look and colors.

Where are the renovated rooms in Toy Story?
The majority of the renovated rooms at this time are preferred rooms. The refurbishment is complete in both of the Toy Story buildings (buildings 9 & 10). Refurbishments are also complete in one of the Fantasia buildings (building 8) and both of the Love Bug buildings (buildings 6 & 7). To increase your chances of receiving a renovated room at All-Star Movies, I recommend booking a preferred room. I also put in a request for a refurbished room with Guest Services on my reservation.
Can you fit a crib in a room?
Another frequently asked question was, “Can I fit a crib, stroller, air mattress, etc., in the room?” Well, here’s the most extra space you’ll get when both beds are used. I don’t think you could comfortably fit an air mattress there , but you could squeeze in a double stroller or Pack n Play in a renovated room at All-Star Movies Resort.
Is the bathroom renovation at All Star Movies good?
Overall, I say the new bathroom renovations at All-Star Movies are a definite improvement! I really like how fresh the rooms are, and I don’t miss carpet at all.

All-Star Movies was the first one to go through renovation. The refurbishment began in 2018 and was originally scheduled to finish in 2019. But it is now finally fully complete. That means when you book a room at All-Star Movies resort, you will get one of the new refurbished rooms. No more making special requests and fearing your request may or may not get honored.

Do all Star movies have connecting rooms?
Yes there are connecting rooms at all star movies and you should be able to choose Dalmatians as one of your requests for online check in. It doesn't mean you will for sure get that area, but we usually always get our requests met. If not, we go to the front desk and ask nicely if there is any possible way to move. At AKL last year we had to wait a night, but it was totally worth it to get a king bed.
