Based on all the great comments on this board and about latex in general, we just bought a split king (with adjustable base) SleepEZ 13 inch organic latex mattress. His side is extra firm, firm, medium (all Dunlop), medium Talalay. My side is extra firm, firm, medium (all Dunlop), then soft Talalay for the top.

Is an adjustable base worth it?
Recently started looking for a new mattress for myself and my boyfriend (170lb back sleeper who tosses and turns, 220lb primarily side sleeper). We were initially just looking for a foam or hybrid mattress on the firmer side, king or cal king.
Wife wants a new mattress and I figured I'd find some experts about this brand or which brand to get..
That's what my wife found and wants, personally I think it's just a gimmick but currently we have an adjustable base that is on its last leg plus a hybrid memory foam and spring mattress. I'd like some recommendations to show her. They don't have to have the arm hole gimmick but if they do it's a plus.
