In order to resurface dual mass flywheel, it has to be taken apart, hence the secondary flywheel can be remachined. Subsequently, it has to be rebuilt with new springs and reassembled with same tolerance like before to make it work properly.Jul 2, 2021
Is dual mass flywheel repairable?
Flywheel manufacturers are now printing warnings in dual mass flywheels to advise that they not be reconditioned. As the risk of reconditioning a dual mass flywheel is high, parts manufacturers will not honor warranty claims where reconditioning is evident.
Can a dual mass flywheel be resurfaced?

Why are dual-mass flywheels so expensive?
The main reason these jobs tend to be more expensive than with typical older type clutch jobs is the price of the parts. Solution: Due to the effects of heat, there is insufficient damping of engine vibrations by the dual mass flywheel. The solution is to fit a new clutch with conventional flywheel and fit a revised crankshaft pulley. A conventional flywheel has been fitted in production since 12/2001. Ford Transit 2000 - 2001. · Is there a Miss? A miss can be caused by several issues listed here: An injector connector tube that is poor quality or unsuitable. A missing or damaged chamber gasket. Low compression. A dual outlet won’t be any louder or quieter than a single outlet if it’s coming from the same single muffler (see my previous comment, where I was assuming you had a 4cylinder). As for a dual outlet coming from two separate mufflers (i.e. a “true dual” system), than a dual exhaust will probably be harsher than a single.
