That is something that we should have realized before we bought the house. I don't believe it would be physically possible to slope the earth away from the entrance because of the design from the top of the hill. The sides would have to be built up taller than the domes and faced with a concrete wall to prevent erosion. Even if we did that, there would still be a hole at the landing unless a waterproof gate and a levy at each side of the landing were installed.
