Hi , I recently had a problem with my heater matrix leaking, probably ended up only the bottom seal was dodgy , anyway i ended up chopping the ally pipes and putting a section of rubber hose on them clamped with jubilee clips, the first attempt had the hoses leaking as if not tightened up enough , so i re-did them and added a bit thread tape on the pipes for added grip, i have been running around now for a couple of weeks and there is no leaks and the heater works very well , as i have had it on all the time , if i put it on cold would it add any pressure onto my joints hence the title if i put some rad weld in would it help stop any leaks from the joints, want to know before i box it back up ie centre consol and brackets for the dash and fuse box lid back on fit carpets back properly etc and find when i dont have the heater on its going to force out of the joints .
