We have brought cheese back from Amsterdam in the past. Nowadays we have Global Entry and answering yes to food negates the advantages of GE as we have to then go to the Customs and that takes time. Since Wegmans and Whole Foods do seem to have an extensive array of cheese we no longer bother to get cheese or any Foods back when we travel.
