It is still prohibited as it is illegal to consume alcohol in national parks. There are some other things which are I believe are prohibited as well -- grills and also those tents with poles like they have at tailgating for football games. You should check the Nat'l park service website or just call them to make sure. Those latter items might just be prohibited on July 4, I cannot recall.
