Sometimes if you palpate the area you can feel the clips. In terms of "feeling them" being present in the scrotum, no they will cause no sensation. Sometimes a sperm granuloma will occur at the vasectomy site and this will engulf the clips so to speak, and in this case you would not be able to differentiate the granuloma from the clips.

Yes. I could feel one for about three years and the other for about eight years. They say the vas deferns will pull up out of the scrotum and into the abdomen after a number of years. The surgeon said when he castrated me and removed my prostate he pulled the remaining vas deferns out along with my seminal vesicles.

For the first month, I had considerable discomfort. It felt like the clips were irritating the surrounding tissue, which was inflamed and sensitive, due to the procedure. By a small amount each day, the discomfort lessened. But to this day, 4 months post Vasclip vasectomy, I still have intermittent pain down there.
