Move your oven rack to the middle. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Place your salt dough items on the baking sheet. Leave space between each item.
Step 3
Place the baking sheet with the salt dough items in the oven on the middle oven rack. Close the door and let the items cure for at least 30 minutes before checking.
Step 4
Put on oven mitts and remove your baking sheet from the oven. Turn larger pieces every 30 minutes so that they cook evenly. Leave smaller pieces unturned.

Cook smaller salt dough pieces for three hours and larger pieces for four hours. Remove your baking sheet from the oven when the allotted time has passed. Allow salt dough pieces to cool completely before removing them from the tray.
