How do you bake paper clay?
Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit and then bake the clay for about 15 minutes. This will help to draw out the moisture from the clay so that it dries faster. Another option is to put the clay in a dehydrator or desiccant chamber.
What happens if you put air dry clay in the oven?
You don't need an oven to harden or bake air dry clay. Depending on the size of the project, air-dry clay will fully set in one or two days. After it dries, the clay has an almost porous, spongy feel. Baking air dry clay is not recommended as it sets on its own and baking air dry clay can ruin your project.
How long does paper clay take to dry?

What kind of clay can you bake?

Is paper clay flammable?
No. If you expose a piece of (dried) air hardening clay to a source of an open fire, for example, a candle, it will char and release a burnt paper-like smell. As you touch the burnt area it will turn into a soft, ash-like powder. Most air drying clays are not flammable.

Can you bake Model Magic air dry clay?
