it will be in a purpose built cupboard, with a door and worktop ( its in a holiday chalet) , so will not be visible unless in use.

I see where you are coming from but yes its still in the bathroom if the door to the cupboard is in the bathroom.

you could add a new consumer unit with a 100mA delayed RCD, a dedicated radial to an RCD FCU behind the washer, rod it, rod the board, rod the bath, and make sure you cover the edge of the bath with cotton buds. Maybe disconnect the taps too.

any thing stopping you and *** you say properly rcd protected, and made near impossible to pull out to get to the cabls why not.
