What is the procedure for drop off at Manchester Airport?
If you're dropping someone off at the airport, you can do so for free at our free drop off point. The free drop off point is on Thorley Lane, next to the JetParks 1 car park and clearly signposted from the M56. From here, passengers will be able to take a free and frequent shuttle bus to their terminal.

The T3 Arrivals (Pick Up) Zone is located inside the T3 Multi-Storey. Once you're on airport grounds, follow the signs for Terminals 1 & 3. You should pass by the Hilton Hotel on your left.
How long do you get to drop off at Manchester Airport?
Except for Blue Badge holders (see below), you may only stay in the Drop Off Zone for a maximum of 10 minutes after which you may be asked to move on by a traffic marshal. An overstay charge of £25.00 will apply after 10 minutes.

All passengers can use our free drop off area, from which a shuttle bus will transport you free of charge to your terminal. There will be frequent shuttle buses, with journey times ranging from five to seven minutes, depending on the terminal you are travelling to.
