To bleach colored items, it’s important to check their colorfastness to bleach first, and you can do this easily with this simple bleachability test: dilute 1 teaspoon Clorox® Regular Bleach 2 in ¼ cup water. Apply a drop of this solution to a hidden part of the colored item (hems, cuffs, and inside seams work well). Wait 1 minute, then blot dry.

So there is all this talk of clorox splashless not being a disinfectant but on this website it it listed under the "disinfecting" group of products and it says is kills 99.9% of germs. So is this a disinfectant or not?

This bleach is very effective and it's nice that it has a thicker formula. This makes it easier to pour without accidentally spilling or splashing. It's not ideal for certain types of laundry, but it works well for most bleach purposes.

I love the splash less bleach..how many have poured it in the past but ended up with bleach on other things accidentally. This prevents that. I just open up my washer and poor it in..no mess no fuss. It is a must have for our bleach needs.
