A friend recently bought an oxy 80, supposedly old formula. Seemed identical to old oxys. OC one side 80 on the other. Coating didnt peel off normal. It used to come off in pieces with his fingernail. This one seemed painted on. Was tough to get off (attributed it to being old stock) Seem to remember them being a yellowish tint on the inside.

I've had oxy in the past where the coating flakes instead of peels - i've discovered its the temp of the tabs, as well as age. Colder tabs don't peel. Warm in your hand for a minute, or breath on it a few times for a bit of moisture - thr coating will peel off beautifully.
