Inspiring work environment for a critical cause
Greenpeace is by and large the most supportive work environment I have ever been a part of. This is an organization that will begin to invest in you the moment you step through the door. It is rare to find such an authentic, transparent workplace with strong ethics, a concrete mission, and livable compensation.

The organization works on very important issues and, in general, is full of idealistic staff who work hard to help each other be the best they can be.
Good salary if you can keep up with deadlines
Overall good place to work at, Managers want you to succeed, laid back if you can keep up with weekly member sign-ups, perfect for extroverted people who are willing to go above and beyond to get members BUT it's incredibly unstable, employee turnover is ridiculous, they have you training people the minute you make staff and your job is never secure.

Fun Job, great people, a true meritocracy
This job was hard, but very rewarding. Everyday I got up, saved some whales and tigers, and got to meet some incredible people. We laughed, we raised money, we stayed true to our mission and we were rewarded for the work we put in.

Great place to work if you are familiar with the issues & want to help bring awareness
Management tends to be outgoing and reasonably chill. Canvassing is tough but it’s also kind of fun, especially when you know and care about the issues. You work with and meet new people who also care and want to help. Job security depends on meeting quota which can be stressful but if you’re good, the pay & benefits are good.
