from the shape of thingies what i see, they seem more of groove 'deepeners' than 'sharpeners', no? what really gets affected aka duller and rounder by time is those corner edges of the groove—where the groove meets the face, not the bottom of the groove right? or am i understanding something wrong here? shouldn't a part of those sharpeners speak/react to the width of the groove gap not only to the depth of it, too? most of sharpeners look pretty generic and not every club has same grooves....
