I paid $16.99 Canadian (not on sale) for the 500 gram package of Costco Kirkland Signature Hormel Fully Cooked Bacon. Not exactly cheap but also not that expensive considering how convenient this is. You’re definitely paying for the packaging and convenience.
Convenience
The reason why I bought this bacon is for convenience! It’s perfect in sandwiches, crumbled over salads or in eggs. Great on burgers and just fine as a snack alone! The best before date on the package is about four months from the date we purchased the bacon.

Two slices is 80 calories, six grams of fat, 350 mg of sodium, six grams of protein, zero grams of fibre, sugar and carbohydrates. The ingredients list is basically pork, salt and preservatives. There’s also sugar on the ingredients list but it says there’s zero grams of sugar on the ingredients label so that’s slightly interesting!
