These often require an upcharge if you go with a national brand (Kraftmaid, etc) They are very good quality.#N#(3) They are limited. Definitely no frameless (but frameless is not even that common in many lines. I found for example Kraftmaid didn't have it, I would have to go to Ultracraft or other more "European" lines, but often these are not all wood.) "Costco cabs" aka AWC only have 11 choices of door/color. They are all listed on their website. On the Costco site there might be 1 or 2 fewer choices, I have not looked recently.#N#(4)They do not allow any custom work. For example, if you want a spice shelf, wicker basket, pull-out (I have all these), you have to buy them from a company like rev-a-shelf and put them in (I did all that)#N#(5) The price is VERY reasonable . Go on AWC site and look for a dealer near you. If you find one, talk to the person. The deal you will get is probably better than the Costco price. The dealer might also be able to install, and that person likely will have better experience than the Costco sub-contracted installer.#N#(6)If you live in Southern Cal, I will give you more info on who did mine. The outside company also takes a small percentage. That means you're paying two middlemen just for the privilege of getting a bid. I would be a fairer comparison to get a bid from an independent cabinet dealer and compare that to IKEA's price. Going through costco is never the best proposition.
