At Habitat one of the main ways we reduce costs for our homeowners is by using as much donated labor as possible. This can cut back the cost of building a home from $200,000 to as low as $90,000. The difference this makes in the monthly mortgage payments is how our homeowners are able to afford their Habitat homes.
