They have this scale that determines if you are smart are not luckily mostly everyone is dumb on this scale which they call a smart score. This is how it works basically if you have a score of 70 or abov you get a question right score goes up two points, but if you get one wrong score goes down 10 - 16 points. Now tell me does that seem fair to you. My fellow students agree with me.

Is IXL good?
I think IXL does a great job of covering the curriculum, and its analytics section is a great tool for figuring out trouble spots. My only big complaint is that the consequences for getting a question wrong are too great. When your at say 99% of the lesson and you get a question wrong Ixl will deduct points so that your at 80% which in some lessons can equate to 30 - 40 minutes of work lost. If IXL would change this so you only went back 1 - 2 questions I would definitely give a four possibly even a five-star rating.
