This program is designed for student to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to function as professional nurses in a variety of health care settings.
1. 126 Semester Hours
Complete a minimum of 126 semester hours with a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or better. Students must have a cumulative average of 77 in all nursing courses for success. Students who fail a nursing course, will have the opportunity to repeat the course only once.
2. General Education Requirement
Freshman and sophomore years: complete General Education Curriculum required by the university as detailed on the four-year course of study. Students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 in math/science courses.There is a limited time for repeating these courses for consideration in the nursing program.
4. Additional Requirements
Demonstrate proficiency on selected clinical skills and proficiency in the clinical settings.
