1-week that is how long 1 battery lasted with spot light on max brightness at night and high sensitivity for people. The other camera has a bad battery and lasts 1 day, SimpliSafe is replacing the battery. I got 2 charging cables, even if the batteries lasted 3 months I don’t wanna go up and charge them and put them back in…
SimpliSafe issues
New SimpliSafe user here, the first home base I received couldn’t connect to cell and had issues holding onto the wifi network (kept dropping) and it would randomly reset itself and announce “welcome to SimpliSafe.” Customer support sent a new one to me.
Double Billing after Upgrade
Has anybody else run into this issue where you're being charged twice a month after upgrading your system? It looks like when I upgraded my system earlier this year from the original to the newest model, when I activated my base station it created an entirely new billing plan, and I've been getting billed on my old (inactive) system as well.
Is there a water sensor for the original system?
Did they previously make a water/leak sensor for the original system? Until I just started looking for the sensor, I did not realize there was a whole new generation of Simplisafe system. I'm wondering if I can find an old one, if they exist. Thanks.
Question regarding Simplisafe smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors
Should the smoke detector or carbon monoxide detector go off, does the siren go off? Also, if either goes off, does the monitoring center a call made to the primary contact person prior to the fire department being dispatched? Asking as I’m worried about the potential for false alarms and the fire department being dispatched unnecessarily and without prior notice to me..
