The goal of the game is to get as many savings as possible. To do this, you take turns shopping around the game board. On your turn, you roll the dice and move the number you roll. When you land on a space, you take the item's card on put it into your basket, as well as if there's a "Target Circle" deal with it.
Is Target Monopoly the same as Regular Monopoly?

My husband and I played the game and it ended up being a lot of fun! I didn't think the game would take as long as a regular Monopoly game would, but it did end up taking about an hour and a half. The game was a little confusing at first, but once we got a round down it started to click and was fun to play!

If you're a Target fan (or Monopoly game collector), you'll love the Target Monopoly game. The game is unique and isn't a complete copy of Monopoly and overall it's fun! It's a little pricey at $25 but it is a fun game and if you're a Target fan you'll definitely love it.

Half impressed
Love the boards and game options a lot, however almost EVERY freakin time I’m about to win or gain more property towards the end of the game, it glitches. You either can’t end your turn and you’re permanently stuck or it boots you out of the game and you can’t rejoin. This is SOOOOO irritating.
Perfect for game night
Hubby and I spent hours playing this. Game is perfect for a game night. You have many options to play from, classic rules or house rules. You can play the live boards or the original classic board. You can play online or you can play with a cpu. Everytime you have an achievement you can unlock different pieces.
Great Game!
I actually really love this game. I grew up in the 90s when we played mostly board games so I have always played this game. I really like that you can play online and there are different challenges.
Good game for all ages
This is a great family game, it was easy enough for everyone to be able to play. The graphics are fun, and the extra boards are nice.
Rolling a 1 for the RedCard
If you roll a 1 on any one die, take the RedCard from a player (or the Bank if this is the first time). Keep this RedCard until another player rolls a 1 (that player then takes this RedCard from you).
Board Spaces
If there is an Item card on this Item’s board space, simply take that card. Put it in your shopping basket (NOT outside the basket).
Shopping for Items
Players go around the board (Target store) shopping for items. There are 22 different items to shop in the game. Each item will put up on sale at a quantity of only 1 at a time.
Deals & Trades
You can buy, sell, or trade things with another player at any time (you don’t have to wait for your turn).
Paying for Items
Before selecting items, look on how much money you currently have. From your shopping basket, select the items that you want to pay for within your limited money. You can select all, some, one, or none of these items. Once you pay for an item, you get the Savings from that item.
Calculating Savings
You calculate the Savings earned in your checkout from paying the items and applying the applicable bonuses. Make sure that all calculations are correct. After you complete your purchase and perform all calculations correctly, you receive the Savings chips (similar to receiving change in coins).
After Checking Out
After you have completed your checkout, all the items that you have held from your shopping basket (paid AND not paid) will be removed. These items will be restocked; that is, an Item card will be placed back in its Item board space.
