Colleges need to pay OTs for taking level 2 students. I spend so many hours working for free when I have a student, even the excellent ones. Employers don't compensate for all that time. It might motivate more clinicians to take on students and the colleges wouldn't struggle finding placements
And it should come from the already exorbitant tuition costs students already pay, not some additional fee they make the students cover.
