Kenmore Stove Top Igniter Clicking — How To Fix

  1. Turn off the burner.
  2. Shut off the gas supply.
  3. Lift off the burner grates.
  4. Remove the cap of the clicking burner.
  5. Take out the screws which hold the burner base and set it aside.
  6. Get a q-tip and dome alcohol.
  7. Dip the q-tip into the alcohol.
  8. Clean the igniter and the surrounding area with the q-tip.
  9. Leave the igniter to dry.
