Before most of my stays, I get the email that asks if I want to pay x amount for an upgrade “bid.” Am I better off waiting to see if I’m upgraded for free? I’d imagine that if I place a paid upgrade request, that will supersede any Diamond automatic upgrades, but I’m not sure if that’s accurate. Thanks!
