Why do we need transcripts?
Transcripts and education verifications are often requested to pursue higher education, employment opportunities and to establish personal identification.
How long are transcripts held?
Transcript requests pending payment will be held for a maximum of 30 days.
How many hours is one credit?
A one credit course is designed for 100 hours of instruction. A credit is granted in each course when a student attains a mark of 50% or higher. If a course is retaken to upgrade, the credit value is assigned to the higher mark.
What is functional integrated program?
Functional Integrated Program is designed for students with severe multiple or mental disabilities who require individual programs. Students do not receive credits for individual courses.
How many credits are needed for bilingual program?
Bilingual Program indicates completion of a minimum of 12 credits taken in French in addition to meeting the Regular program requirements with the exception of the Language Arts area. A minimum of 4 credits taken in French is required for grade 10; 8 for grade 11; and 12 for grade 12.
What is alternative education?
Alternative Education Program is an approved locally developed program designed to meet special needs of students who require curricula that are qualitatively different from the Regular program. Each grade level consists of eight courses and may include various combinations of regular and alternative courses.
What are the requirements for adult 12?
An adult may obtain grade 12 standing without having completed previous grades with a minimum of seven credits: English Language Arts A 30; English Language Arts B 30; one of Social Studies 30: Canadian Studies, History 30: Canadian Studies or Native Studies 30: Canadian Studies; one credit from each of the mathematics and science areas of study at the 20 or 30 level; two level 30 elective credits. A prior learning credit may be used as an elective.

What to do if a Catholic school has closed?
If the student graduated from a Catholic School and the school has closed, please contact the Diocese in which the Catholic school resided in.
How much money do you need to send a transcript to Jackson Public Schools?
You should also include a $5.50 money order for each requested transcript. ($5 for a copy of the transcript and .50 cents for postage.) Money orders must be payable to Jackson Public Schools.
Where to get transcripts for Jackson K12.Ms?

Can Jackson Public Schools order diplomas?

How old do you have to be to get your school records?
If the student is 18 years of age or older or attending a post-secondary institution, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.
Do Baltimore City schools need to request records?
Currently, enrolled students of Baltimore City Public Schools need to request records from the high school.
Can you use a money order to pay for Scribbles?
Money Order. A money order is to be used as an alternative to the online payment by selecting "Pay by Money Order" at the bottom of the form. Cash and checks will not be accepted. The money order must be made out and delivered to "Scribbles Software" along with a copy of your receipt or order number. Your order will not be processed until the money order is received.
