How do you get to the USS Intrepid?
Intrepid is a short walk North from the M34 and M42. The M50 drops off immediately in front of the Intrepid. Take the A, C, E, N, Q, R, S, 1, 2, 3, 7 train to 42nd Street, then walk or take the M42 West Bus to Hudson River (12th Avenue). Walk North to the Intrepid Museum at 46th Street.

Is the Intrepid museum worth visiting?
We loved the Intrepid and we were lucky enough to visit the same time as a space exhibition. This is a fantastic place to learn some history and all about the boats. Some great interactive fun for kids too. The lunch options are very crowded and limiting so plan accordingly.
