Can I install the truegrid paver directly on the grid?
A final plate compaction to subbase stone will provide an even surface for the TRUEGRID Paver to be directly installed on. Grid must be ¼” or slightly below surrounding grade, adjoining edging, or transition pavement. You can recess the grid deeper if planning to completely cover the grid.

Grid must be ¼” or slightly below surrounding grade or edging. TRUEGRID® cross sections can be built above existing grade without excavation.
Step 2
Lay base rock. Clean, angular stone ¾” to 1”. (#57 common) Compact in 4” lifts with a heavy compactor (heavier the better) to settle, level and lock in clean angular stone. DO NOT USE ROUND ROCK. When detention or subsurface drainage is not needed, a typical compactible road base can be used.
Step 3
Grid must be ¼” or slightly below surrounding grade, adjoining edging, or transition pavement.
Step 4
Fill grid with 5/8” or ¾” fill rock. Spread to top of grid cells or slight overfill as desired. Compact to settle and lock in infill aggregate.

How does a truegrid work?
TRUEGRID recommends to fill the gravel flush to the top of the grid. This keeps the gravel contained within the cells of the grid and prevents gravel migration. It also prevents any potential dust issues as the grid is the load bearing structure so the fill material is not pulverized.
Why use a truegrid?
Using TRUEGRID allows storm water to permeate through the aggregate or grass fill so bio-remediation can help remove pollutants from the water before it reaches the water table ( Environment ). Also, substituting TRUEGRID for concrete eliminates the CO2 emissions from the manufacture of cement.
How long does a truegrid last?
How long will my TRUE GRID last? 25 to 60 plus years depending on traffic and application. TRUEGRID will typically outlast asphalt and last as long as or longer than concrete. TRUEGRID is produced from 100% Post-Consumer High Density Polyethylene with added UV inhibitors.
Is a truegrid ADA compliant?
Yes, TRUEGRID projects are ADA complaint when transitions are kept less than ½” and aggregate of ½” or under is used. It is important to only fill the TRUEGRID flush to the top and not overfill. The TRUEGRID DECK is also ADA compliant and offers a gravel free surface while also 100% permeable.
Does Truegrid work with all soils?
TRUEGRID works with all soils and in all climates. For unstable soils a geo-grid mesh or permeable pinpoint fabric may be helpful between the soil and the rock base. TRUEGRID integral flex joints allow it to hug the ground with any type of soil movement. It will not buckle and unzip like rigid systems.
Step One: Download and install the TruGrid Windows Connector
a. On your Windows computer, download TruGrid Windows Connector from https://www.trugrid.com/downloads/winconnector . This will download a file named " TruGrid_Windows_Connector_Installer ".
Step Two: Log into TruGrid
a. Enter your username into the window that opens (the username is the same as the one that you currently use to log into vWorkspace)
Step Three: Launch your virtual desktop
a. Click on the computer name listed under "Computer Type", which will make the "Connect" button show.
