- Log into your Comcast Xfinity account by using this link.
- Click on My Services.
- Change the xFi Advanced Security to Disable.
- Once you finish doing this, you will be able to download media from the Video Platform.

For the site you still can’t reach, I would clear the browser and DNS Cache. If it still happens, I would temporarily change DNS servers to either use Google’s or Comcast’s and flushing DNS Cache again and trying again to see if there is any difference.

Can XFi be removed from a XFi gateway?
Yeah. Since it’s now included as part of the base rental of xFi Gateways, it is no longer possible to have it fully removed. This was a very recent change. It can be disabled on the web interface the same way as the app.
Does Comcast still log everything?
Mainly from a privacy perspective. It sounds like Comcast still logs everything, even if Advanced Security is disabled. I also don't want to accidentally enabled it again, since there's no option to disable from the web interface.

Web Filters
Web Filtering allows users to manage their internet traffic using preset Protection Level categories and Content Restriction Scheduling.
Internet Off
The Off-Hours Internet Schedule allows users to block all non-administrative related internet access.
Internet Security
The Internet Security section allows users to configure the Search Protection features of Comcast Business SecurityEdge, as well as view the status of the Malware and Phishing Protection.
Block and Allow Lists
Comcast Business SecurityEdge offers the ability for users to manually blacklist or whitelist specific URLs to customize the protection for any business. These lists will override any Protection Levels set in Web Filters.
Domain Lookup
This page can be used to search specific website URLs to determine if they are included on any of the Web Filters applied in Protection Levels.
