I’ve set my firer up and have started running it today. I’ve had to go and turn the filter off as the noise from our bedroom is very loud. Not too bothered myself as I love the sound of running water but I don’t think the neighbours do.

I know the noise you mean as mine does the same but is at the bottom of the garden so not offensive. Would an elbow from the outlet to under the water level in the filter work as it would then not be able to 'suck' air It would not need to be a perfect seal as obviously it could not leak anywhere
