Step 3
Remove the screws that hold the existing light switch in place. Keep one hand on the light fixture when you remove the last screw to ensure that it doesn't fall down. Modern fixtures are secured directly to the ceiling with clips. Unclip the light fixture to replace it.
Step 4
Take note of the wiring. Unscrew the wire connectors and remove the old eyeball lighting fixture.
Step 5
Rewire the new fixture, using the same wiring configuration. Secure wires with wire connectors. Ensure that there are no exposed wires that may cause an electrical fire.
Step 6
Thread the wires back into the ceiling. Position the eyeball lighting fixture into place in the ceiling. Line the holes up with the existing holes and use the screws which come with the lighting fixture to secure the eyeball light to the ceiling. If your model uses clips, clip the new fixture into place.
Step 7
Screw in the lightbulb. Restore power and test out your eyeball light. Rotate the eyeball light to shine in a direction that suits your needs.
