Under the hood, on the drivers side, right by the bulkhead firewall is a big black knurled cap...thats the lid of the fuel filter. Make sure you release the pressure first by turning the yellow lever underneath! that will help drain it.

On a cummins turbo diesel the water pump replacement is quite simple i do believe. just have to remove the belt. The clutch fan, and pulley, then the water pump is right there i believe being held on by 4 bolts only and remove.
