Most bog standard junior hacksaw frames work the same way, you basically have to force 'em Pete. Locate the new blade into one end (small pins should fit into indents) and then ease the other end of the frame inwards until you can fit the blade completely.

Forget the antiquated hacksaw for cutting up bits of bikes - get a 9" angle grinder from Screwfix (ignore the Nancy-boy 6" things). Go to weight training classes at the local gym, then fire up your grinder and Hey Presto! one bike in 500 pieces.
