In thirty years of backpacking I can say without question the Static V Luxe is the best grounded ever. Might be a bit heavy for many ultralight guys, but sleep is priceless in my opinion.

I have found that the Ivory soap bottle cap makes a great upgrade to the smart water bottles. They share the same standard threading, but you get a sport cap for easy drinking on the trail this way. No leaking, even when I try squeezing the bottle to force it to.

I just moved to a small apartment without great airflow and a really small balcony. How do you all spray permethrin ahead of trips? I have a roommate and I don’t want to breathe in toxic fumes. I live in NYC and friends don’t have backyards or decks to my knowledge.
