swim been reading about this method of using blue lotus and is a bit confused about how to best make a blue lotus wine concoction. He assumed that you leave the blue lotus to soak in the wine for a few days or so, then filter out the blue lotus leaves and drink the wine which would have the good stuff from the blue lotus in it.

SWIM wonders the same thing.If someone want to make it simple though,I would just consume all the stuff.Drink the liquid and downing the plant at the same time.

You should definitely drink the wine. The flowers could be eaten as well, but not instead of.

I should add that he has since tried both methods, drinking the wine and drinking the plant material too, and found the effects to be extremely subtle. He couldn't be sure if he was getting anything more than placebo effect.

Hi guys. It was confirmed on another thread that, hypothetically, blue lotus could be prepared in other forms of alcohol such as vodka and brandy. I would like to prepare the blue lotus flower in brandy but keeps getting confused with the measurements when he compares it to the alcohol content of brandy.

Hi guys. It was confirmed on another thread that, hypothetically, blue lotus could be prepared in other forms of alcohol such as vodka and brandy. I would like to prepare the blue lotus flower in brandy but keeps getting confused with the measurements when he compares it to the alcohol content of brandy.

Ok, thanks for the tip. When I spoke to SWIM, he said he was concerned about wasting the 25mg of lotus flowers and/or the brandy (i.e. not having a sufficiently strong concoction and no flowers left over, or having an overly potent drink) but he will try out your suggestion.
