Color Salt Dough Recipe

This salt dough recipe is easy enough for even children to make using just a few staple ingredients and your favorite food coloring! It's a fun Christmas craft everyone can participate in!

Ingredients

Pour 2 cups (256 g) of flour into a large bowl. Add 1 cup (201 g) of salt, 3⁄4 cup (180 mL) of water, and 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of vegetable oil bowl. Stir thoroughly until all of the clumps have been removed from the mixture. It should gain a doughy consistency.

Tips

If the dough is too crumbly, add more water. If it's too sticky, add a little more flour.

Warnings

This dough can be toxic to animals due to its high sodium content. Keep pets away from it.
