In the spirit of this subreddit’s “there are no stupid questions” rule, can someone tell me what this is? It’s some kind of red, flaky stuff under the carpet. Just wondering if it’s safe because I did find asbestos in the tiles downstairs. (Just bought a 1960’s fixer upper and my first home!)
