I would wire both BDR91's, i.e. the CH and HW, into the respective thermostat terminals in the wiring centre. Room stat BDR91- as in previous post Cylinder stat BDR91 - A to C; B to 1; C to 2. Insert links on the Wiring Centre Programmer block between L & CH ON, and between L & HW ON.

I am looking to replace my Salus RXRT505 wireless receiver with a Honeywell wireless bdr91 receiver so i can use evohome.

It's just a matter of moving the wires from the terminals at the Salus to the terminals at the BDR91 that have the same function. Before I start, I should point out that whilst it will work as indeed it has been doing, the wrong cable has been used. Because an earth wire is being used as a live conductor.

Indeed, some Salus instructions in particular are quite poor, they just show the voltage free contacts wired to a 230V boiler that has two terminals provided for the switching circuit. The BDR91 on the other hand provides a useful second live terminal for the loop to A, to make installation easier. Hopefully diylady will let us know how it went.

Are you just replacing the Salus receiver with the Honeywell? If so, do you realize that the Salus wireless thermostat is not compatible with the Honeywell receiver?

If i wire as a room stat which was my first idea because I'm waiting for the hot water kit to arrive (another week) so still need my current programmer for turning on hot water , would A go to 1 and B to 3 on the wiring centre ?
