Such as a wreck or dot inspection. I have had to drive with faulty brakes, lights and abs issues, just to name a few things, quite often. Only to be told by management and mechanics to get in line because of other equipment broken down or parts that aren't available until next week or so. I once thought that JB Hunt was large enough to take care of its equipment, but I was wrong. All that matters is getting one more load hauled no matter what.
