Hi Keith, mine when it was spanking new went over 320'c but now a few months on top dollar seems to have settled at about 295'c. The variation in my temps may be due to wind or different ambient temps.

Can't beat Weber CS!! I assume it's on natural gas from the picture showing the bayonet fitting. No natural gas BBQ will not hit the same temps as the same BBQ on LPG.

Nah Nah I'm not saying there's nothing wrong with your 220. There certainly is. All I'm saying is a NG BBQ won't get to the same temp as the same BBQ on LPG. Doesn't matter if it's a Weber or Beefeater or whatever. If you had your old BBQ beside an LPG version of the same BBQ the LPG model will always get hotter than the NG version.
