How the ice cream tradition began
They've had ice cream from the beginning, ever since Carl Lindner Sr. decided to save their milk customers money on milk by opening stores instead of delivering to doors. (If only they'd hung on to delivery for a few decades, they'd be right in step now.) People originally brought their bowls to the store to get them filled.
Things I like at UDF
The turtle sundae. I've tried many. It's the best. They make their own caramel and hot fudge sauce in the Norwood plant.
