There is no need to dress for all day hiking. Everyday summer wear is fine. Some people were hiking in their bikinis as they came straight off the beach! I don’t recommend that though! I wore my long active wear pants, which definitely helped with the mosquito situation.

There aren’t too many hikes in Oahu that are completely safe. Manoa Falls is one of the rare, fairly safe hikes so you don’t have anything to worry about.

Manoa Falls is one of the few hikes in Oahu that is actually legal. Therefore, there is onsite parking which costs $5 for the day.
