Understanding and Adjusting Your Video Storage Time The Ring Protect Plan is an optional subscription plan that allows you to store videos in your Ring account. In the US, Video Storage Time has been set at a default of 60 days. That means a video would remain in your account for 60 days from the initial recording date.
How long does Ring camera recordings stay on your record?
In the US, Ring allows users a subscription plan that allows you to access your footage captured in the past 60 days, yet when it comes to Europe, you only have 30 days. This doesn’t take away from any other storage devices you plan to use to store old data, whether it be an SD Card or another type of external plug-ins.

Ring stores recorded video in the US for up to 60 days depending upon the device, and in the EU/UK, Ring stores recorded videos for up to 30 days (you can opt for shorter intervals).
Does Ring keep videos forever?
Videos will be permanently lost if they are deleted, if your subscription lapses, or if the video storage time expires. To keep your videos, download them.
How long does Ring store video without?
When the 30-day trial ends, videos will be deleted unless you are already subscribed to a Ring Protect plan. To avoid losing access to your recorded videos and subscription features, make sure you subscribe to Ring Protect before your trial period ends.
What happens if you don't subscribe to Ring Protect?
If you do not subscribe to a Ring Protect Plan, the raw video files are automatically deleted unless you posted the video to the Neighbors app while the Live View event was occurring. Videos posted to the Neighbors App will be publicly available.
How to share video recordings?
You can also share video recordings via text or email by creating a share link to the recording. After a share link has been created, the video recording may be viewed and downloaded by anyone with the share link ID. Additionally, you can make your videos publicly available by posting them on the Internet.
Can you view video recordings on Ring?
If you are having issues with your device or video recordings, you can request assistance from Ring community support agents. Depending on the issue, they may request permission from you to view your video recordings in connection with troubleshooting the issues. You choose whether to provide Ring with limited, short-term access to view your video recordings, solely to troubleshoot the issues. These video recordings are not viewed, shared, or used by Ring for any other purpose.

Ring alarm having a global issue and not able to shut off your alarm. Stuck in the house
Just got off the phone with them. They said that nothing will work and they will not be able to shut off the alarm if it were to go off. Currently I’m stuck in the house unless I want the alarm to go off and stay going off until they fix it. The guy actually recommended that I write down my passcodes and stick it on the keypad. Dude.

As of this week, I am having no luck pulling up Live View on multiple devices in different locations on different networks. I've checked on different computers and different browsers, cleared cache/cookies with no change. Live view works fine from mobile devices, however.

Can you store recordings on Ring Protect?
Note: If you do not have a Ring Protect Plan, recordings will not be stored. Purchase of a Ring Protect Plan will not give you access to recordings from before the plan takes effect. Any lapse in coverage makes previous recordings you may have had inaccessible and removes them.
Can you view ring recordings?
No. Unless you provide us with explicit permission as described in the FAQs above, Ring team members, similar to other members of the general public, can only view the video recordings that you have elected to make publicly available by posting them on the Neighbors App (or otherwise on the Internet).

Does the Ring doorbell record without Wi-Fi?
The general answer to this is no. Ring Doorbells cannot record any video without a secure Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection. Storing these video recordings in your account if you have a Ring Protect Plan also requires an Internet connection.
