A drone can tag a target with a laser or if it’s a fire and forget missile simply program the missile to seek a particular target type from a database or that which its SARS radar scanned and shoot the missile into the vicinity of the target, the missile will then recognise the target in terminal phase and home in on it. It can also use dumb rockets and shoot them in a straight line at something it’s aiming at.
