It is because of this thorough ground laying that the reader never has a problem remembering who was who later in the book. You feel as if you really know and understand them. These characterisations had me slightly worried this time as I was wondering if they were going on a bit too long and getting too involved. I shouldnt have been concerned. They were just right.
