Is there a role of project manager in Scrum?
Note: there is no role of project manager in Scrum at all. This is because none is needed; the traditional responsibilities of a project manager have been divided up and reassigned among the three Scrum roles, and mostly to the Team and Product Owner, rather than to the Scrum Master. Is each member of a team a member of a team?
Each member of the Team is just a team member. Notice there are no fixed specialist titles in a group that adopts Scrum; there is no business analyst, no DBA, no architect, no team lead, no interaction/UX designer, no programmer. They work together during each Sprint in whatever way is appropriate to achieve the goal they have set for themselves.
The many roles of a Scrum Master

1. Knowledge Roles
It seems we believe a Scrum Master has responsibility for knowledge (teaching, encyclopaedia), learning (mentor and evidence gatherer) and direction (guide and compass) in a team.
2. Vision Roles
We also believe that a Scrum Master helps a team with a vision or a way forward. There is a positive bias at play here (visionary, idealist, beacon, front-runner, advocate of ideas) and also a duality to the role, with both informality (story teller, servant leader, student) and formality (leader, oracle, guardian) present.
3. Action Roles
A Scrum Master also needs to be action-oriented. Day to day there are roles related to flow (unblocker, process optimiser, impediment remover, facilitator and enabler) but also to wider organisational change (change agent, politician, transformer, an example). Again, a formal role is described here (manager, team architect).
4. People Roles
No surprise here: a Scrum Master needs people skills. Coaching is high on the agenda (sheepdog, mirror, mental coach, grower, energiser, encourager and coach). There is a hint of observation in the ethnographer role, and also an interesting role suggesting that a Scrum Master should be an altruist, anchored in good intentions.
5. Trust Roles
Our last category suggests that a Scrum Master helps build psychological safety in teams, and definitely requires good relationship skills (counselor, conflict navigator, psychologist, people developer, sounding board and sparring partner).
