The 2022 FFCC Championships will take place at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center on March 25-27, 2022. Regional A includes two flights (1&2) of two rounds each. These flights are ticketed separately. AAA Colorguard is Flight 3.

The overall size of the community remains a very small proportion of the fighting game market overall. The FFCC was founded in 1985 by a small group of music educators , headed by Roanna Combs and John Harlow, with the intention of bringing performers, directors, and spectators together to celebrate the accomplishments and excellence of their efforts. It was their hope to bring organization, standardization and quality to their competitive events to better serve the marching arts community.

Jenny’s first involvement with the FFCC was in 1997 where she performed exhibition at the Lake Mary circuit show. Igniting her love for colorguard, Jenny then performed all four years at Lake Mary High School, earning a WGI Scholastic Open Silver medal in 2002. The middle school feeder club where she first discovered colorguard, became Jenny’s personal project her senior year. Thus, starting her teaching career and her first team to compete in the FFCC. Continuing after high school, Jenny was a member of Northeast Independent for 6 years, leading the group to a WGI Independent World Bronze medal in 2008.

While serving as an FFCC Board Member, Erin has assumed the role of “National Class Representative” followed by Executive Secretary, Awards Manager and most recently added the role of Assistant Judge Manger to her responsibilities.

What is a cross functional team?
Under Secretary McCarthy characterized a Cross-Functional Team (CFT) as a team of teams, led by a requirements leader, program manager, sustainer and tester. Each CFT must strike a balance for itself amid constraints: the realms of requirements, acquisition, science and technology, test, resourcing, costing, and sustainment. A balance is needed in order for a CFT in order to produce a realizable concept before a competitor achieves it. The Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC) itself serves as a kind of CFT, operating at a higher level as response to Congressional oversight, budgeting, funding, policy, and authorization for action.
