Can I go swimming at the Centennial Pool?

When can I purchase a season pass for the lap swim pool?
Those wishing to use the lap swim pool may purchase a season pass beginning January 15. More information will be shared shortly. You may renew your season pass online or in person at any Park District facility during regular business hours.
What is the weather like at Prospect Park Pool?
Opening and closing of the pool is subject to prevailing weather conditions, including cold weather (temperature at 68 degrees or below) electrical or thunder storms, or heavy rain. Or, if there are no guests for two hours at the Prospect Park Splash Pad. Children 11 months and under are free.

Reservations
While the State was under Phase 4 of the Restore Illinois Plan, the District communicated the need for guests to make a reservation prior to visiting the facility.As a result of moving to the Bridge Phase, the facility capacity has increased and reservations will not be taken. Entry to the facility will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Refunds
No rain checks or refunds will be given for daily admissions due to weather, late park openings, or early park closures.

Is there a capacity limit for Restore Illinois pool?
Beginning June 11, there will be no capacity limit at the pool under Phase 5 of Restore Illinois. Daily admissions will be available for purchase based on availability. Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or childcare provider.
Do you need a reservation for lap swim?
Reservations are required for Lap Swim (see Reservations tab, above). To enter the facility, lap swimmers must use the main Centennial Family Aquatic Center entrance and access the pool deck through the locker rooms. Lap swimmers no longer need to enter through the family changing room hallway.
