Fungus Gnats!!
I bought a bag of the Miracle grown Garden soil and immediately regretted buying it. I had only used this in a railing flower bed for my herbs.
Mostly Satisfied - This batch smelled like fish
I purchased this product every spring and fall. I use it to repot or refresh soil for my indoor plants. This year I used it for seedlings as well. My only comment about this years purchase is that for some reason there are sprouts and it smells like I fertilized my plants with fish fertilizer. I did not....
Fungus gnats
The year before last I started using Miracle Gro Potting Soil Mix & had no issues at all. This last year & so far this year I noticed & after reading reviews I now know I’m not going crazy. Fungus gnats terrorized every last plant of mine & I’ve had to spend a lot of extra $ to get rid of them.
Tainted with Fungus that killed Tomatoe Seedlings!
I used to always prefer buying this product to either start my seedling in, or to up-pot existing seedlings and house plants. Yet, last year, the bags I bought were infested with Fungus Gnats, which ended up killing over $100 worth of Plant sales. Thought maybe a one-time fluke.
Lot of green plastic
I bought 2 bags this week and 2 bags last week they all had pieces of green plastic in them and large sticks. I’ve always used this potting soil just like my grandparents and father to expand are vegetable garden’s, they always trusted it and taught me to.
Gnats, gnats all I see is gnats
Being new to gardening I was mega pumped to get my small veggie garden started. My colleagues recommended this product so with all the confidence I picked up 11 bags, a few tomato plants, cucumbers, green and red peppers. Oh, and some potatoes from Home Depot. There was pushing this cart visualizing my garden.
Holes in my vegetable leaves
My son-in-law bought me 5 bags of Miracle Gro Potting Mix , twice as big, together with wooden pots and plants just before Mother's Day.Just wondered why leaves of my veggies are have many holes, when soil is just newly changed. Seems like insects i don't see are eating them up.
